New construction of a chalet situated in the popular Petit Village quarter in the northeast above Zermatt. The residential area is known for its extraordinary panoramas over the village with unspoilt views on the Matterhorn and the surrounding peaks. Sport enthusiasts and nature lovers benefit from a direct access to a forest path and the possibility of ending the ski day just a few meters from the plot. The house will have three units with room heights of at least 2.50m and each can be accessed directly by elevator.

The building can be reached over a ramp from the municipal road behind. The entrance is through the second floor where you can find as well the common bike room worthy of its name. On the opposite of latter is the entrance door to the apartment opening on a hallway with a wardrobe. It’s along that corridor and across from the elevator that you access the guest bedroom with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. The main room consisting of an open plan kitchen, a dining corner and a living area will convince you with its double height, a generous layout, the beautiful fireplace, big window openings and a loggia with various possibilities of furnishing. A guest toilet is planned in the back corner of the entertainment room below the stairs leading to the top floor. At that level there are two more bedrooms which share a bathroom to the rear of the chalet and the master bedroom with Matterhorn view, a private balcony, a dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a separate toilet.

A special attention will be given to the common areas with a private cellar and a shared laundry room on the ground floor complemented by the directly from the street accessible bike room and the comfortable ski room reachable by elevator. The goal of the project owner and architects is to give the accommodation a carefully designed architecture in a contemporary style without neglecting the identity of the mountains. Since the construction works will only start in Spring, modifications to the layout can still be considered. The delivery is planned for 2023.
